The Bunch vase, available in black and white ceramic, looks like a bunch of flowers, with the stems gathered together as if it were the perfect bouquet. It is an ironic combination of a container and its contents inspired by the oriental art of ikebana, in which flowers and other elements of natural origin are arranged to form elegant compositions.

Armchairs
Almora is a revolving chair named after the Indian region that offers a breath-taking view of the Himalayas and, quoting its designers, it longs to be “a haven from the world, a place for contemplation and reading from where one can admire magnificent snow-capped peaks. As protective as a second skin, enveloping like a soft blanket”.

The latest addition to the B&B Atoll seating range is this new small armchair. Agile and elevated in design, its thin metal legs evoke the style of the sofa and are ideally complemented by the characteristic shape of the cushions, which harmonise linearity with softness. The backrest and seat are characterised by two soft cushions that rest on a slightly inclined frame, providing the ideal balance between comfort and functionality.
Beverly ‘14 by Antonio Citterio is an extremely elegant armchair of a balanced modernity that enables it to interact with diverse styles and settings. The treatment and processing of materials are reserved for those important pieces, carefully detailed with the power to emphasize its light and comfortable design.
The evergreen Coronado sofa is the quintessential symbol of relaxation. It comfort is guaranteed by a suspension system made from harmonic steel bands inserted into the structure of the back. The product’s aesthetics, conceived as a trait-d’union between period furniture and the growing desire for modernity, has decreed its success over time. Its revolutionary personality in terms of design and of materials offers a prime example of B&B Italia’s industrial culture.
The small armchair Do-Maru is named after the ancient armour worn by samurai warriors, made up of painted and decorated thick leather plates that covered and protected the hero’s body. Like the swivel armchair Almora, designed by Doshi-Levien in 2014, once again the shell of the seat is made up of a couple of superimposed bodies, softened by paddings that can be upholstered with either fabric or leather. The cast aluminium back support boldly underlines the conical profile of the small armchair, while the anterior support is in tubular metal with black chromed or pewter painted finishes, studied to match the colours of the body: white, black and tortora.
Leather in Kasia Stone, White Shell Finish and Black Chrome Painted Frame
Leather in Kora Black, Anthracite Shell Finish and Black Chrome Painted Frame
Striking and functional, the Édouard armchairs, along with the sofas of the same name, are designed to furnish relaxing lounge areas, adapting to the space and to personal taste. Available with a high or low backrest, they stand out for their rigorous yet soft frames ensuring utmost comfort. Covers produced in a broad range of fabrics and leather are customised with seams in relief that define the frames with an impressive graphic effect.
Round, soft and sinuous shapes: this series of floor-standing seats without a metal base offers a new expression of comfort. The double-colour versions and those that mix leather and fabric are original with horizontal and vertical surfaces establishing a dialogue with each other through nuances of shades or with stronger contrasts. Once again in B&B Italia’s history a product merges original shapes and technological innovation which, in this case, are represented by the use of slow-return viscoelastic foam that gradually adapts itself to the body and its posture.
The name recalls the butterfly because, as explained by the author, the backrest designs the two wings with the head resting between them and protected by them. It seems carved out of a block of material from which its inverted truncated cone shape derives. With a powerful personality, its swivel system facilitates contact with the surrounding environment. The chair includes an ottoman footrest for an absolutely relaxing position.
Naoto Fukasawa continues his research on upside-down truncated cone shaped seats, and, for this project addresses B&B Italia’s need to explore the seating with armrests. Two forms are ergonomically designed and developed to obtain a relaxing easy armchair with a high back and headrest, and a conversation armchair with a low back. Both armchairs have a swivel base and visible metal hinge in the back part that, as with the iconic Papilio series, allow to remove the cover, available in fabric or leather. To these seats are added a third form, an ottoman on top of which a tray element can be supported, allowing complementary use as a small table.

Harbor Laidback is a versatile and innovative armchair that redefines the concept of relaxation continuing the tradition of the Harbor armchairs, a classic it shares the origin of the inverted truncated cone shape and the harmonious and flowing line. Equipped with a swivel aluminium base with four spokes, Harbor Laidback has an unprecedented mechanism, perfectly hidden in the frame, that allows the simultaneous movement of the backrest and the seat. To control the movement, all you have to do is operate a lever strategically placed between the cushion and the armrest: once you have reached the most comfortable position, you release the lever and the backrest stops at the desired angle. To increase the feeling of well-being, the seat accompanies the backrest and moves almost unnoticeably. Harbor Laidback also features a height-adjustable upholstered headrest, distinguished by its distinctive counterweight, and can be combined with a cosy matching footrest and a round ottoman with removable wood tray. The upholstery is available in leather or fabric embellished with an elegant saddle stitch that recalls the sophistication of saddlery and underlines the harmony of the shapes. The zip that crosses the backrest is an aesthetic and functional element that once again reveals the harmony with the Harbor family. In terms of form and materials, the identity of Harbor Laidback is born hybrid, adaptable to work environments as well as purely domestic spaces. The calibrated proportions and the height of the top of the seat make Harbor Laidback the ideal place to use a computer or tablet, to have a video call or enjoy a movie, to concentrate on a report or to retreat with a good book.

Its principal feature, which is comfort, issues from relations between the inclination of backrest and seat, while its unmistakable distinctive trait is the aluminium foot. A small detail that endows a rather traditional product with a genuine modern touch and lightness, which have made it a timeless sofa.
Those who look at a sofa must visually perceive a sense of both mental and physical comfort. Patricia Urquiola has conveyed this concept to the armchair Husk by designing a stiff body made of Hirek that contains a soft cushion divided into portions, which seem to underscore its ergonomic profile. It is endowed with an original spirit that merges with various styles. Three cushion types: standard, which is large and enveloping, or headrest. With our without an ottoman as footrest.
The J.J. family presents armchairs with a different look and a wide variety of materials: with a steel-rod structure supporting a wooden frame, they convey a certain degree of lightness. Entirely made of thermo-treated ash wood, they hint at traditional aesthetics. Details are carefully studied for every armchair as the polypropylene ribbons that design the backrest. There is also an armchair fitted with a sleigh, the expression of the traditional rocking chair that becomes glamorous when it is attired in long haired Mongolian lamb fur.
Easy with large seat and backrest, it is designed to fit into any space. The cover is fitted on a steel frame and offers both the self-coloured version and the option of combining contrasting shades between the underseat and the external surface.
The Bambola armchair is part of Le Bambole series, originally designed in 1972, awarded with the Compasso d’Oro in 1979. Icon of timeless contemporaneity and one of the most effective expressions of Made in Italy excellence combining research and creative flair, Le Bambole have provided a very personal answer to the theme of seats. What makes them special is the apparent absence of a load bearing structure, the extreme naturalness of the shape, and the combination of comfort, softness and elasticity that their appearance conveys. Where the original construction was based on a metal structure embedded in polyurethane, now the materials used are of the latest generation, starting from recycled polyethylene gives structure. A sustainable project thanks to the choice of materials and the construction method, that allows the components of Le Bambole to be completely disassembled and therefore easily recyclable.
Beds
A sheet of leather “pinched” in two places at the base: here is where the movement and natural inclination of the Alys headboard originate. A headboard with a welcoming and protective shape, of great formal effectiveness, that has thin perimeter strips marked by a lengthwise seam. Alys frame can be placed at two different heights, thanks to two sets of feet supplied with the bed.
The B&B Atoll collection is continuously being expanded and updated, and has now been extended with the addition of a new bed. This latest piece of furniture reflects the stylistic elements of the B&B Atoll sofas, united as they are by the same exceptional elegance, clean, understated lines, and rigorous proportions, as well as by the die-cast aluminium legs set at each corner, now a staple of contemporary furniture. As with the entire B&B Atoll range, the bed can be covered in leather or fabric.
The Bamboletto bed is part of Le Bambole series, originally designed in 1972, awarded with the Compasso d’Oro in 1979. An upholstered bed with generous shapes that features the design of the iconic seats collection, Bamboletto is one of the most significant expressions of Made in Italy excellence combining research and creative flair.
Charles is a double bed with fabric or leather upholstery available in two versions: a more striking one, in which the sides protrude from the slightly recessed mattress, and a simpler one in which the band is flush with the mattress. An evolution of the sofa of the same name, the Charles bed features the signature design of the inverted “L” shaped foot. It also comes in a version with wheels.
The Husk double bed, with textile or leather upholstery, features a headboard with a strong personality that accommodates a box spring, available in four sizes. Soft and welcoming, simple yet complex in its geometry, the headboard is punctuated by tufting. The bed reflects the same research into softness and comfort as the armchair of the same name that gave rise to the series, inclusive of a sofa, chairs and small tables.
A brand new element in the Noonu archipelago is the bed. Its lines echo the design of the sofa, in particular the headboard, an element that instantly stands out for its understated grandeur, attracting the eye and enveloping the body. In pure Noonu style, the underlying frame is slightly suspended off the ground as if floating on the floor. At the base of the bed we find the usual metal profile in curved aluminium, available in bright brushed, black chromed and pewter grey versions. As with the whole Noonu range, the bed can be covered in leather or fabric. For ease of movement, the bed can rest on four fixed feet or on two fixed feet and two wheels, positioned inside the frame to remove them from view.
Fabric in Sara Blue and Pewter Painted Edge Finish
The single-material Papilio bed, available in five sizes, stands out for its continuous line and attractive proportions. Upholstered either in fabric or in leather, Papilio features the same clean lines as the armchairs of the same name, though with slightly less conical sides.
The Richard bed is available in different sizes, upholstered either in fabric or in leather. The design is defined by high sides running along the perimeter and by the sartorial detail of the seams with the insertion of a prominent profile. The height of the lateral bed sides makes it possible to use any type of mattress support, from traditional fixed ones to those with a manual headboard and footboard mechanism.
Saké is a strongly contemporary sofa bed that stands out for its absolute formal balance. The only sofa bed in the B&B Italia collection, it features the same seating and back elements as the system of sofas of the same name.
From the very first glance the Siena bed’s airy image is striking with the projecting base that defines the entire perimeter of the bed and which, at the back, becomes a convenient surface to place books and accessories. The backrest is inclined to offer an ideal relaxing position. Impressive from behind, it can even be placed at the centre of the room.

Benches
Bull is a multipurpose bench that reproduces on a reduced scale the essential design of the homonymous table with the characteristic detail of the slightly inclined round section legs. Available in two sizes, it is made of solid oak in various finishes and completed by round cushions with fabric or leather upholstery.
Chairs
The Belle wooden chair stands out for its rounded lines and leather upholstered seat. The round section legs are given a classical feel by curving slightly outwards in the lower part. Towards the top they join up with the backrest to create elegant, elbow-shaped armrests. The backrest comes in two versions: in wood, in the same finishes as the frame, or upholstered in leather to match the seat. With a clever play of literary and stylistic references, the Belle chair is the delicate, feminine counterpart to the Bull table, but can easily be combined with other models as well.
Charlotte by Antonio Citterio is a tribute to lightness. The shell is completely covered, but the frame profile is visible on the chair side, thus highlighting the line of the seat. The cover is in raw cut full grain leather in six different colours (natural, black, dark brown, mud green, bottle green, bordeaux). The frame is available in a series of different finishes that emphasize it when pewter painted, bronzed nickel painted, black chrome painted or black painted aluminium, or blend it with the cover when painted in bottle green or bordeaux colours.
Cutter is Mario Bellini’s new chair with strong and decisive aesthetics which create a new type of seating. The back of the chair is slashed by a cut which is pays homage to the great artist Lucio Fontana. Although evident, Cutter’s nature does not only lie in an aesthetic choice but generates an unprecedented type of seating. The twin backrest’s ends are functional and comfortable in a frontal position, while moving independently and allowing a lateral position. This gesture is suitable for chatting with the person seated nearby. It is also designed to ensure high comfort seating and casual movements, allowing the user to lean on one side with an arm placed around the backrest. The seating frame is made of metal and webbing, softened by a classic polyurethane upholstery. To guarantee elasticity and strength to the double backrest, B&B Italia’s Research & Development Centre has opted for a sophisticated harmonic steel core. The upholstery and cover fully envelop the chair in embossed thick leather, creating an ideal synthesis of softness and rigour, underlined by saddle stitching. The central cut reveals an inner part in refined black Saffiano thick leather, as if Cutter’s soul peeps out from this dramatic opening.
Dark Brown Embossed Thick Leather
Black Embossed Thick Leather
The result of sophisticated research on the theme of padded thick leather that reaches very thin tailoring solutions. Softness is perceived by the lines of the seat and backrest and by their convex shape. Thick leather is bent, rounded and turned but never cut; the continuous seams on the front and back add a graphic sign. The fabric variants can be very colourful.
It combines geometry and softness, expert woodworking skills and technology. Designed with important details, including especially the padded body that runs along the perimeter of the seat and backrest. The wooden frame visually reduces the volumes of El, concealing the foam, whose thickness guarantees remarkable comfort and a certain degree of flexibility.

Flair O’ is a small domestic throne, a chair that matches the Allure O’ table perfectly. The two objects establish a dialogue starting from their bases. Both pieces sit atop a truncated pyramid with rounded edges to reconcile the concepts of elegance and charm. The base widens gently on the back side as it nears the floor. It becomes almost unnoticeable and provides great stability without interfering with the harmony of the design. A padded seat provides necessary comfort. Moreover, the accentuated tilt of the backrest and its enveloping shape help people relax without compromising the ideal posture to adopt when interacting with others elegantly around a dining table. Furthermore, the chair is equipped with a swivel mechanism with an automatic return. The fabric cover embraces Flair O’ like a tailored suit, covering it completely from the seat to the base.
Fabric in Sapri Grey
Comfortable, with a modern combination of base and seat, it picks up the profile of the namesake armchair. The body, which is shaped with a design that cites the capitonné style, conveys a feeling of softness; the cushions, in fabric or leather, fixed with press studs, are distinguished by the quilting. Many colour variants and combinations.
It brings home the rigour of work spaces and stands out for the soft lines of the aluminium perimeter profile. The light steel mesh of the backrest and the light design of the spokes make it a particularly pleasant addition even to the domestic environment. Antonio Citterio interprets the classic design of Chinese chairs in a contemporary key, rediscovering the craftsmanship of turned and curved wood, added to leather to make seats and backs that enhance the design. For the Jens chair, designed by Antonio Citterio with armrests in two versions and without armrests, the choice of wood in oak or natural wenge offers different shade variants.
Their name recalls relaxation, laziness and rest. The principle they have in common is the bright chromed steel frame with easy to remove covers with a zipper or Velcro fastening. With high backrest for a rigorous position, lower with backrest/armrest or in the stool version, it offers the possibility of combining different fabric tones above and under the seat, with a two-colour effect.
Two different structures, the former in plate steel both chromed and varnished, the latter with a four star brushed aluminium base. Malleable and easy to place alongside tables that differ in style, it allows to play with base and cover combinations: more serious in leather or colourful in fabric.
Miniaturised it becomes more playful than the previous versions, and can also be used in public spaces. All features are left unaltered: traditional, 360 degree rotation, or an automatic return to the pre-set position
Fabric in Adria Orange and Metallic Grey Painted Base
The classic director’s chair (a fixed variant that comes with or without arms and a folding version) is reinvented with contemporary sophistication and meticulous attention to detail and proportions, not to mention the grain of leather used on the seat and the back. The structure of the chair is available in light or dark tones, whereas the leather is available in natural or black. Different shades are able to offer different images for a different kind of feel.
The design allows both an erect posture and a more relaxed position by resting on one of the wings of the armrest. The formal balance results from the constant thickness of the body and by the profile of the seat, which is sinuous at the top and ends in the light steel frame. Removable covers with a metal zip on the back, which becomes a decorative motif.

The Stella McCartney x B&B Italia capsule collection (armchair, two-seater sofa and three-seater sofa) is marking the British conscious pioneer’s first-ever interiors collaboration. The sofas feature a hand-drawn “Fungi Forest” print upholstery pulled from the Stella McCartney Summer 2022 runway collection and a responsible construction inspired by shared sustainability values. The collaboration was successfully introduced at Stella McCartney’s “Future of Fashion” material innovation installation during Milan Design Week in June 2022. The partnership was born of Stella’s long-time personal passion for Bellini’s works and celebrates Le Bambole’s 50th anniversary. Made with circularity in mind, the new Le Bambole is designed to be fully disassembled – allowing for easier repairs and the most responsible use of materials at the end of life. The Stella McCartney x B&B Italia capsule also introduces a new sustainable innovation exclusively developed by the design company’s R&D team: Le Bambole’s upholstery is a 100% biodegradable and toxin-free polyester leaving no harmful microplastics in the environment.
In its ten years of life, the Tobi-Ishi table has become a true icon of international design. In all its variations, it retains the strongly sculptural feel defined by the three elements that compose it, inspired by the “flying stones” that dot the pools of water in Japanese gardens. This peculiar balance of solidity and lightness also appears in the new limited and numbered edition of only 500 pieces made of strips of white Carrara and green Alpi marble with a very manual and sophisticated crafting technique, which requires slow and skillful processes, making it precious.
Small Tables
The Alanda coffee table, an iconic piece that ushered in the 1980s, is now revisited in homage to Paolo Piva, the great architect and designer who passed away last year. A highly successful classic and sought-after vintage furnishing complements, Alanda is one of the most typical design objects of a period with a wealth of strong, daring stylistic signs, often in a dialogue with architecture, reproducing its most attractive, characteristic elements in miniature. The Alanda’s structure, serving as both pedestal and support, recalls a group of upturned pyramids, a geodetic frame that has always characterized it as if it was a magical object, entrapping and amplifying cosmic energy. Alanda ‘18 is offered in two sizes – 120 x 120 cm and 120 x 180 cm – with structure in glossy black painted steel and top in extra light or smoky glass.

Multipurpose tables with lacquered cylindrical bases that taper in slightly at the bottom smoothing out their geometry. There are two oval variants accompanied by a third with a round shape. All have a marble top with a raised edge resembling a tray. A formal exercise is created through the combination of different materials, the contrast between the hardness of marble, soft design and minimal details giving the illusion of imperceptible movements of form.
Colosseo fits smoothly into the highly successful product category of accessories, furnishing elements that change function according to occasion and need, and for Colosseo this means transforming from coffee table to pouf. When designing this new product, Fukasawa arrived at the shape he was searching for by considering a solid in the form of an upside-down truncated cone, lightened by arch-shaped grooves that define the surface, creating an assonance with the structure of the famous Roman arena it is named after. Made of hard polyurethane painted in sixteen glossy colours, Colosseo is available in two sizes: 40 cm diameter x 45 cm height and 50 cm diameter x 55 cm height.
Designed to accompany the Husk bed, it is useful in domestic environments with its design based on a circular metal tray lightly resting on solid die-cast supports. Painted white or black, the top also has a copper finish as homage to an ancient material that was once associated with classical aesthetics, and which has been revisited today with modern sensitivity.
An evergreen like the sofa, which inspires its die-cast aluminium supports. Three versions, two impressive even in term of size; the other lighter with two tops, one in transparent ground glass and the other covered with leather.

The Dock system is accompanied by a series of complementary elements. A large low table in two sizes becomes a generously sized platform. Rectangular or square, it has the same design and finish as the sofa base Canaletto walnut, light, grey, black and smoked oak.

Lightness and simplicity distinguish Formiche (Ants in English) complements. The slender support FRAME (making reference to the name), with its shape and finish, picks up the theme of the feet in the sofa system. The rounded support of pewter painted steel is connected by crosspiece to support the tops in different shapes, round, oval, or “kidney bean.” Various shapes and heights make it possible to compose different support systems. The tops themselves, made of transparent extra light glass, brushed light oak, titanium finish metal, or porcelain stoneware, Calacatta white or stone grey stone, have a fine thickness of 8 mm.

Slate Black Painted Top and Black Chromed Painted Frame
Ottoman and tables are combined to create an original and poetic furnishing complement. The 3D surface of the former results from the assembly of small leather “leaves,” discarded from the manufacturing process. The latter issue from a folded sheet of metal. Handcrafting skills and geometries enhance the green calling of this accessory that is inspired by the structure of the beehive.
Sofas
Formal rigour, calibrated proportions and soft geometry characterize Andy ‘13, a sofa equipped with a mechanism that allows the backrest to change its inclination from a horizontal position, more decorative and with a contemporary sign, to a vertical one for more comfortable sitting. It is available in linear and corner versions with chase longue, with fabric or leather upholstery.
Designed to create the setting for leisure activities, Arne stands out for the curved shape that envelops the user. It is an invitation to socialise and share moments together, to converse and watch television shows on a large screen. It has all the features of the protagonist designed to be centrally placed in the room and, even placed against a wall, it never loses its image of comfort and lightness conveyed by the aluminium supports on which both seat and backrest seem to be suspended.
Named after the coral formation B&B Atoll, the new modular seating system by Antonio Citterio, is a refined expression of a balanced aesthetic form and a decisive contemporary style that is also extremely elegant. The system is built on three basic platforms – 190 cm and 240 cm, both with 90 cm depth, and 130 cm with 140 cm deep – that are complemented by armrest and backrest elements to form various types of seats: sofas, dormeuses, corner-end modules, single or modular elements with chaise longue and ottomans. The frames have light, slender lines and are applied on high die-cast supports with metal profile emphasising the line between the structure and upholstery. Two finishes are available, pewter and black chrome. The pieces are given even more character by a supporting element to be placed wherever desired, a bolster in two sizes – 65 cm and 90 cm – attached by leather straps to a die-cast structure. This accessory can be inserted between the seat cushion and the base structure to provide an additional support or become an armrest or backrest at will. B&B Atoll is a dynamic project with a constantly fresh ability to adapt to different compositions and create different seating types, from informal relax versions to most formal, also made possible by the use of complementary back cushions.
In line with the concept of continuous growth and evolution, the B&B Atoll collection has been extended with the new B&B Atoll Soft sofa. Alongside the classic version now stands a new version, with even softer shapes and cushions. In terms of appearance, B&B Atoll Soft stands out for its more informal look arising from a more accentuated roundness and bevelled edges, offering a promise of comfort further confirmed by the brand new upholstery.
Bend-Sofa is a modular sofa with a great personality. It seems to have been moulded by an artist’s hand, but actually originates from the study of 3D models and digital research. Its irregular shape enhances comfort. The very name Bend-Sofa effectively expresses the idea of movement obtained by the alternation of solids and voids, underlined by the contrasting stitching that gives rise to a further design on its irregular and sinuous surface.
In its new version, Camaleonda preserves the elements that have made it an iconic piece of furniture. Certain elements remain faithful to the original project, such as the 90×90 cm seat module, the backrest and armrest, and the characteristic capitonné design, still manufactured with the innovative system of cables, hooks and rings created by Bellini in 1970, which defines its characteristic look and modularity.
The protagonist of modern lifestyle, it has become the landmark in the world of design. The light feeling especially conveyed by the essential design of the inverted “L”- shaped feet, along with a single seat-cushion and a series of free cushions placed on the backrest is the distinctive feature of a sofa that has met with boundless success. The airy shape and simple profile make it, almost by contrast, extremely rich and innovative from a spatial standpoint, a system that encourages the creation of ever new compositions. Charles includes an extensive family of elements that can meet every furnishing requirement, even the most personal demand for comfort.
A very comfortable seat, the sofa is a welcoming shelter to lie down in. This is the new concept of the Charles system by Antonio Citterio, which has become in time a classical element of interior design, a huge market success since its creation in 1997. A wide depth reshapes its line.
Presented in the distant 1966, after more than forty years it is still the symbol of relaxation. Its revolutionary personality in terms of design and of materials is the example of B&B Italia’s industrial culture, but success, then as today, was decreed by aesthetics that converge the classical features of period furniture and modern requirements. Besides the sofas and armchair, the collection also includes a high armchair with a unique ottoman, which have in common the fact that comfort is ensured by a spring system made of steel music wire strips incorporated into the backrest.
Diesis is not only a B&B Italia classic, but an absolute icon of contemporary design. 2019 marks the 40th anniversary of its first appearance – an important landmark which has been celebrated with some design and structural updates. These updates return to the original concept while simultaneously advancing the design towards the future. The iconic backrest retains its essential and technical integrity based around the structural steel core, composed of metal springs which give strength and flexibility. The thick leather covered base and backrest are just like they were 40 years ago, but now have a distinctive Saffiano texture. The supporting frame has a timeless elegance, which underlines Diesis’ harmony with the vision of the great masters of Modernism. The cushions boast a new leather cover (available exclusively for Diesis 40) that accentuates the product’s strength and vigour. This is softened by new and more comfortable upholstery. Reinforced seams and other techniques borrowed from saddlery draw attention to the authentic craftsmanship. Lovers of technical details will appreciate the die-cast lenticular elements of the polished brushed aluminium frame, and the seat structure which is further reduced by using two leather-covered coupled sheets. There are many further details to discover in Diesis 40. It is a great classic ready to face the next decades of its life.

The new upholstered Dock sofa system by Piero Lissoni is a safe haven in the home. The Dock’s shape is based around a solid platform which supports the eclectic compositions that span horizontally. The platform is a dynamic element, which extends for the sofa’s entire length to form a base. The narrower armrest is available in two depth sizes and is generously padded like the backrest. The cushions play with sizes and proportions, making it possible to create double-sided, corner and chaise longue compositions, with or without backrests which are suitable for the centre of the room or more traditional settings Dock can also be developed vertically and is equipped with accessories that allow to create a varied landscape. It is in fact possible to insert extra elements between the seat cushions such as comfortable padded armrests, while slender service elements can be placed on the platform. These supporting elements for the body and objects provide further choices, for a visual rhythm which gives additional possibilities to experience and conceive the system. The armrest and seat cushions have elegant tone-on-tone stitching. In addition to the classic B&B Italia fabric and leather upholstery range, two new exclusive fabrics have been designed for Dock. The comfortable soft padding creates a peaceful harbour, which can be further defined by the possibility to select from different depths and heights. Three depths that can be combined with a 41 cm seat height, or with a lower 27 cm version which is almost ground level to create an far eastern style seat. After spending some time on Dock, you can leave the port and set sail for unfamiliar places, rested, and refreshed.

Shaped by an organic development inspired by the form of a soy bean, the typical ingredient in Oriental cuisine, Eda-Mame is a furnishing element with a strong impact created by a sculptural design that can give great incisiveness to a space. A single object that is a fusion of three types of seating – high-back chair, easy chair and pouf. Its threefold nature lends Eda-Mame extreme versatility in both residential and public settings, and can also highlight areas for co-working, passage and short stays, like hotel lobbies. Made of moulded foam, Eda-Mame is upholstered in a stretch fabric with a light stitching. The support base is made of crosspieces with rounded steel feet connected to each other by a bar, all in pewter painted finish.

Tables
Alex is a series of tables in various sizes, distinguished by the pronounced design of the sectional frames in large, lenticular shapes. Three shapes and different sizes: rectangular in three lengths, round and square. The “sawhorse” frame connected with the crosspiece is made of hard polyurethane with metallic drawn inserts in glossy or satin colours of the B&B Italia collection. There is a wide range of finishes of the tops, from wood to satin or glossy finishes, from marble finish to mirror glass. The round version allows the possibility of positioning at the centre of the table a round swivel tray.

A sculptural and unexpectedly powerful table produced in a limited and numbered edition of only 100 pieces, Blitz stands out for its flat, slim, geometric external frame, which finds its natural completion in the curved and sinuous shapes of the interior, revealing aesthetic and constructive solutions reminiscent of a suspension bridge
The Bull table communicates the immediate impression of a very object thanks to the legs with an ample round section, which although slightly inclined seem to be solidly “planted in the ground”, and in contrast a slim top that seems simply to be resting lightly on the frame. Available in two sizes, Bull can be entirely in oak wood or with an oak structure and top in marble.
Table and console are classics today with their versatile features (wood or lacquered, as desired), the elegance of the rounded top and the strong profile of the base with its cross-shaped motif. They are the expression of refined aesthetics that combine well with other products.
The result of the study of transparent surfaces that are rich in special effects, it is inspired by the kaleidoscope, by the glass panes of 18th century Venetian palaces, and produces optical effects: the top of the table Lens was obtained through the coupling of two glass sheets with a special internal film to enhance surface depth. The elegant supporting frame is made of white painted metal.
A square variant and three rectangular tables. These are the different versions of the Mirto table, initially designed for outdoor use it has now found inside with its precise formal appearance. The components are characterized by a simple design of reduced thickness that offers specific details and a wide array of materials and finishes. The table tops range from the reflections of glass to compact marbles onto the different grains and colours of wood. The combinations of structure make for a variety of solutions, also including monochromatic black and white.
The Oskar table, Vincent Van Duysen embraces the more architectural tradition of furniture design, both considering the experience of the masters and presenting its own distinctive piece that can dialogue with the space around it. In its most iconic version, the top in cathedral glass with irregular surface and light green colour perfectly matches the lacquered legs in glossy emerald green. Oskar is available in three sizes: two rectangular and one square.
Two imposing aluminium bars joined by two side supports is the concept for the first table designed by Michael Anastassiades for B&B Italia. A basic structure with a minimal and essential vision – a concept that becomes an object. The search for extreme simplicity is often accompanied by the need to find cutting-edge technical solutions, and Parallel Structure is the perfect example. To respect the project’s purity, great attention was paid to the detailing of the joins, the relationship between cleanliness of form and structural elements and the combination of different materials. The legs are in solid wood, while the side supports – architraves connecting the coloured aluminium bars – hide a metal core, necessary to provide solidity and greater visual lightness to the structure. The collection includes two sizes and tops in different materials: Canaletto walnut and four variants of oak – light, grey, black and smoked – for a choice that favours minimal aesthetics or glass, which enhances the beauty of the engineering process through transparency. This table creates a pure and monolithic presence, where apparent simplicity erases all that is superfluous. Starting from its name, Parallel Structure is a product that naturally brings an architectural approach to the design world.
Three uneven sides are an alternative to the traditional layout. Designed to seat 7, in the formation 3+2+2. The appearance changes depending on the wood or lacquer finish but the pattern of the three-branch structure emerges on the top’s surface creating a graphic decoration to contrast with or match the colour of the top.

The name refers to the ornamental stones in Japanese gardens, which have inspired the components of Tobi-Ishi. It converges both functional features and a statuesque appearance with amazing results. The overhanging top and bases look different depending on the viewpoint, while the various finishes endow the table with highly personal interpretations: from cement to marble and lacquer in the sophisticated hues of red candy and blue smoke.Originally round in shape, it is now presented in larger version with a rectangular top tapered at the ends, the range of finishes is also expanded with 16 satin lacquered finishes, for both the round and the new rectangular version, joining the two glossy lacquered finishes Candy Red and Smoke Blue and the original cement finish.
Wallsystem
As we all have size requirements in our houses, we need furnishings that despite their size can be positioned in areas of limited space. This is where the concept for Flat.C comes from. Designed to house books and a television as well as all hi-fi accessories in the smallest amount of space possible, it also provides a convenient solution for electrical wiring and arranging the wires in cableways. Flat.C is only 25 cm in depth: the thickness of the shelves and sides has been extremely reduced, and there are no visibly joined parts.
Jack is the result of the first collaboration between B&B Italia and Michael Anastassiades. Known for his skills in working with light, the Cypriot designer has designed a modular bookcase system with a striking degree of technological perfection. In its search for the creation of an innovative language, this design challenge revisits and modernises a design classic, the 1950’s room centre bookcase, transforming it into a complement with a clean, essential yet architectural structure. The genius of the piece lies in concealing the engineered supports, including those holding up the laminated shelves, inside the vertical elements with a rounded section made of extruded aluminium and integrated by an exclusive, totally-invisible, floor-ceiling telescopic adjustment system. The system is available in 14 heights, ranging from 220 cm to 324 cm and taking in all measurements in-between, while the shelves are in two lengths, 75 cm and 90 cm, both 30 cm deep. Two are the finishes provided for the vertical elements and shelves for single-colour solutions, chalk white and black, both matt.
It is the result of a very simple idea: a sheet folded in half and restrained by light ties, designed to be used as a bookshelf and top. In time, Pab has become a very successful system, and has grown from the original project into the wide range of configurations and different finishes that make up this year’s current version. Besides the shelf and back panels, a series of storage units and a number of multi-purpose benches are now available. Finishes make up an important part of this identity. The vast choice of finishes and hues, along with the variety of furnishing elements, makes it possible to obtain personalised, made-to-measure solutions.
